LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – The Lima TEDx Faurot Park is set to offer a fresh perspective, regardless of your background. This year’s theme, “The Power of We,” will showcase six speakers sharing their stories on how collective action and shared aspirations can drive change in communities.
The event, now in its fifth year, is an independent TED Talk, growing each year. The speakers have no hidden agenda, simply aiming to share ideas and inspire others. Aimee Bucher, executive producer of TEDx Faurot Park, believes attendees will leave with a new perspective.
“You will walk away different than when you entered the room,” Bucher said. “You will have new ideas, new ways of thinking about old ideas. It’s just an incredible event.”
TEDx Faurot Park will be held on Saturday, April 12th, starting at 9 a.m. at the Encore Theatre. A limited number of tickets are still available and can be purchased at tedxfaurotpark.org.
